Key Point: Your vocabulary learning data stays on your device. We do not upload, store, or have access to your learning progress.

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

To provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality.

3. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob

Dictionary API

The App fetches word definitions from a third-party dictionary API. Only the searched word is sent as a query parameter; no personal data is transmitted.

Text-to-Speech

The App uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine for pronunciation practice. All audio processing happens locally on your device.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data with third-party analytics and advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) as described in this policy.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect the information collected through the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy & COPPA Compliance

Fluent Vocab is designed to be safe for users of all ages. To comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we implement a neutral age screen when you first open the App.

If you are under 13:

Your age group is stored locally on your device. We use this information solely to configure Google AdMob for "Child-Directed Treatment." This means AdMob will only serve non-personalized ads and will not collect tracking identifiers or personal data from your device.

If you are 13 or older:

You may receive standard, personalized ads, and you have the right to manage your ad preferences through your device settings.

Important: We do not ask for your exact date of birth, and your selected age group is never transmitted to our servers.
